Everything that goes into storage is listed on an inventory before it leaves your home. Each carton is numbered, each piece of furniture is blanket wrapped, and you get the list so you know exactly what we are holding. When you want it back, you tell us the date and we bring it.
What moving and storage together actually saves you
Splitting a move across two suppliers is where most of the damage and most of the arguing happens. The movers say the storage company loaded it badly. The storage company says it arrived that way. Nobody signed for anything in between.

Storage that is actually suitable for Dubai
Dubai summers are hard on furniture. Leather dries and cracks, veneer lifts, and anything with a fabric surface will pick up a smell if it is stored somewhere humid and unventilated. A lock up in an industrial yard with a roller shutter and no ventilation is not storage, it is a slow way to ruin a sofa.
We store goods off the floor on racking, wrapped, in a clean and ventilated unit, and we do not stack heavy items on upholstery. Mattresses go in covers rather than resting against a wall. Anything with a polished surface is blanket wrapped rather than shrink wrapped directly, because plastic against polish traps moisture.
Packing that survives being handled twice
Goods going into storage are handled more times than goods going straight to a new home, so they are packed to a higher standard. Cartons are double walled and filled to the top so they do not collapse under the weight of the one above. Glass and ceramics are wrapped individually rather than nested. Books go in small cartons, because a large carton of books is a carton that splits.
We label by room and by content, and we photograph anything that already has a mark on it before we wrap it. That photograph is your protection and ours.

How much do moving and storage services in Dubai cost?
The price depends on the volume going into storage, how long you need it and whether we are also packing for you. Because it is priced by volume and not by guesswork, the honest answer is that we need to see the home first. Can I store for just two weeks?
Yes. Short gaps between a handover and a move in are the most common reason people call us. You can store by the week, and if your dates change you tell us and we adjust rather than charging you for a full month you did not use.
Is my furniture insured while it is in storage?
We handle goods carefully and everything is wrapped and racked properly, but if you want cover against loss or damage while in storage, ask for it when you request your quote so it is written into the price rather than assumed. Tell us the value of anything unusually expensive, because high value items are covered on a declared basis.
Do you store white goods and mattresses?
Yes. Fridges and washing machines need to be emptied, defrosted and fully dried before they go in, otherwise they will smell when they come out. We will tell you how long to leave them running empty beforehand. Mattresses go into covers rather than straight onto racking.
Can I add things to storage later?
Yes. Plenty of customers put a first load in, live with the essentials for a few weeks and then send the rest. Each delivery is added to the same inventory so you always have one list.
What cannot go into storage?
Food, plants, anything perishable, flammable liquids such as paint thinner or gas canisters, and documents you may suddenly need. If you are unsure about an item, ask at the survey rather than on moving day.
